Frequently Asked Questions

How do I maintain my hardwood flooring?

Your goal is to not constantly sand and refinish your hardwood floors, however, you want to periodically re-coat them, when necessary.  Using only recommended floor cleaners and regular dust mopping is highly recommended.

Is oil based polyurethane better than water based?

No, however, all polyurethanes (oil or water) are brand specific.  The water based polyurethanes we offer are actually significantly more durable than an oil base finish.  We only use time tested, industry leading commercial grade water base and oil base finishes.

Each finish has a unique finished appearance.

Are you an insured company?

Yes, we are a fully insured, limited liability flooring company.

What is your estimated time for installation?

Once your estimate is complete and your product order has been placed, it is typically 5 to 10 business days.

Do you have a showroom?

No, we network with several local flooring suppliers, such as Lowe's, Home Depot, Jennings Builder's Supply, and Lumber Liquidators who either have the showroom space or provide us with samples that we can bring to you.  Estimate appointments are available upon request and we provide a list of materials and supplies you will need to complete the project.

How long will it take to refinish my floor?

It really depends on several factors:  (the size of your job, type of finish, stain involved, humidity, etc.)
